I’ve always consided myself a logical person, realistic. Not pessimistic, but realistic. My husband would pull his hair out trying to talk to me about his dreams and I would shut him down hard. It terrified me because I couldn’t see how we could possibly afford to do what he wanted to do. Years later, and after tons of personal development consumed, I’ve learned what it truly means to be realistic.
Do bad things happen? Could you get rejected on that sales call, or could someone completely hate your products, presentation, you, or the company? YES! Now here is the important part, does it serve YOU to focus on that?! Listen to my ‘aha’ that I had while learning from my coach.
If you like this or got any value out of it, I’d appreciate it if you shared it with others. If you would like to connect with me, feel free to reach out to me.
